Christ Apostolic Church in the Northern Region (now known as Adelaja Region) celebrates 100 years of existence. Christ Apostolic Church in the Northern part of Nigeria was established in 1921 through Pastor J.A. Adelaja. CAC Adelaja Region comprises of 11 States from the North Eastern and North Western parts of Nigeria with the Headquarters in Kano. These States are: Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara and Kano which is the Headquarters.
All hands are now on deck as preparations towards the Centenary Celebration is in top gear.
Below is the outline of programs to mark the Centenary Celebration:
- The Celebration kicks off in all the assemblies across the Region on Sunday, 10th of October, 2021;
- There will be a two-day Revival in all assemblies across the Region on Wednesday, 13th October and Thursday, 14th October, 2021;
- Celebrating the goodness of God for His presence with us with a Night of Praise on Friday, 15th October, 2021;
- Welcoming the General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas in person of Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi as the Guest of Honour at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on Saturday, 16th October, 2021;
- The Grand Finale of the Centenary Celebration will be on 17th October, 2021 at the Regional Headquarters at 79/81, Aitken by Ibo Road, Sabon Gari, Kano.
The Theme of the Centenary Celebration is “100 YEARS IN GOD’S PRESENCE”.
